Graduate student in electrical engineering, University of New Mexico;
Shaun led the University of New Mexico AISES chapter (UNM-AISES) from 2002 to 2004. He made systematic changes to remove problematic complexities and gained tremendous momentum moving the chapter forward. Shaun felt that the improvements made at UNM-AISES could be proliferated within the larger AISES organization. So Shaun asked how he could share his ideas and later was invited as a guest to observe an AISES Board of Directors meeting. That following November the AISES student body elected him as a National Student Representative.
