Joseph Connolly
AISES Professional Sequoyah Fellow
Joseph W. Connolly is Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and a member of the Six Nation of the Grand River. Out of the Six Nations comprising the Haudenosaunee he is from the Onondaga Nation and of the Wolf Clan. Joe is currently working as an Aerospace Engineer in the Research Controls and Dynamics Branch at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. In this position, Joe develops dynamic models of supersonic propulsion systems for Aero-propulso-servo-ealsticity research, and conducts fault modeling of the Ares I-X Upper stage Thrust Vector Control. Previous work has included! analysis of lunar satellite constellations for astronaut surface navigation based on dilution of precision. Joe earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and B.A. in Sociology from the Ohio State University in June 2004, and is currently attending Case Western Reserve University |
