Organizational Structure
AISES is a charitable non-profit organization with members who pay yearly dues or one-time Sequoyah membership donations. Per the AISES Bylaws, the Board of Directors is elected by AISES' general members. Representing the AISES membership, the Board also includes National Student Representatives, who attend all Board meetings but are non-voting members.
The Board ensure that AISES remains focused on the mission. The Chief Executive Officer is employed by the Board and is directed to lead the day-to-day business of the Society.
The Board of Directors is comprised of American Indian professionals in science and engineering fields, currently chaired by Anthony Kahn, Navajo. Click here for a current board list.
